no, its not mandatory. But e-sign with aadhar is still not enable. If you want to submit the same before its enable you need to get registered then it is necessary to take dsc.

Not mandatory for Individuals, HUFs and Partnership firms.
They can E-sign the document, based on Aadhar E-sign verification
