It's a good news from ICAI.. this time..
Just fill the May-11 examination form online and get relaxation from application fees of rs. 500 for Final and rs. 100 for IPCC.
For detailed info. refer the attachment..
Ya a move to encourage online applications... but i feel students in rural areas having no internet facility would suffer.. ICAI should help such students by setting up Kiosks in ICAI branches all over the country to help such students..

* Many time icai website takes minutes together to open. so difficult to fill
* Power failure may cause problems
* The Cyber centre's may not be accessable all the time to rural student
* In a hurry to fill the form many mistakes might happen especially with rural students
* Online filling has to be only with selected regions like 4 Metros and Hyderabad, Bangalore, jaipur, Ahmadabad, Goa
* What is the mode of waive off mentioned in notification ? It says payment of online form to be made by using Credit Card/Debit card/Visa but how the refund mode ? Why to collect money when you are waiving off ? Not clear to me

As per my understanding Fee waived off means we dont have to pay that. and only application fees is waived off, not the entire exam fees, so under OL system, exam fees is reqired to be paid electronically instead of demand draft.
