Graduates: ipcc dilemma

Hello,

I know i might have posted this query earlier but a few weeks back i had read as per a notification from the ICAI, that graduates would now be allowed to take the IPCC course without going through the rigours of CPT. Could someone please confirm.

IF the above is actually true, could someone please guide me if i should prepare for both the groups or just one of the groups, if my attempt does turn up in Nov 2012 (as per the notification) taken into consideration I have my CS professional exams in December 2012. Would really appreciate if someone takes some time out to address the above two queries.

Dear friend

yes, u give direct ipcc exam. if u complete ur b.com. on the basic of your query i will suggest you to try both group of ipcc along with ur cs exam. because few subject are same in both course.

but if u want not handle more pressure of reading than u go 1st group of ipcc along with cs exam.

because when first group you passed than your articleship start.so u can easily give ur 2nd group exam in next attemp.

The notification is still in draft stage. ICAI is seeking public opinion. It may take some more weeks to get its finalised notification. Hence, you cannot do IPCC directly as of now.
