Goods confiscated for Expired e-way bill

Hi..!
My consignment is with held bby dept for travelling with expired e-way. They are asking me to pay GST + penalty for the offence. They has issued PMT-06 challab in the name of Owner with temp Gstn instead of issuing it on Company . How to go about it. What is procedure for this.?

Yes it's correct , the expired Eway bill as good as Without Eway.

Yes generally when vehicle is detained in other state , the tax officer provide temporary user id & password , so that penalty & GST deposit by taxpayer goes Account of that particular state.

So kindly ask, under which Section the penalty has been imposed , as in case of confiscation , the Order is issued in form GST MOV-10.
