well guys what if somebody fails in the group and got highest marks in in any subject will he get best paper award or not...any how he will be elible for exemption..can be eligible for best paper award too?

He will get the award only if in the same sitting he has written all papers, 6 or 8, as the case may be, and secured maximum marks among all the candidates who appeared in all the papers.
Also regarding exemption, it does not matter if his marks are highest or the lowest of all the candidates who wrote the paper, if he has scored 60 marks or more for that paper. Even if he is topper with 58 marks, it is not exemption. Marks of other papers is immaterial for exemption.
