HI,
We own a godown. We want to lease the godown to an exporter, who can inturn take necessary permission from central excise and can export goods from there.
Please advise if the godown needs to be registered first with excise? or we can directly lease to the exporter and he can get NOC from excise and customs ?

depends on exporter activity that he want to declare the godown as their place of business or not,
if declared as place of business then it must be registered.
