Students who registered for articleship on/before 30.04.2012, need to do only GMCS-II now, instead of the erstwhile GMCS, before applying for membership of the ICAI - View ICAI announcement

Advanced ITT course is applicable to those students who have registered for articleship on/after 01.02.2013 and they need to complete it before appearing in the Final Examination. [View ICAI Announcement]

No, as old GMCS course has been discontinued by ICAI w.e.f. 01.04.2014. Now, such students need to do only GMCS-II course, as mentioned above.

My three years  of articleship is going to be completed on 7th august 2015. and as per the regulations 51A I need to comlete the GMCS 2 on or before that date, since i got registered for my articleship after 1st may 2012.

But , i need to ask that What if I am not able to complete GMCS 2 ? or

What if dint get leave from my articleship training as the audit season has started? or

or if GMCS 2 course is not gonna held in my city till august? 

I just need to know the consequenses for not completing the GMCS course beforee 7th august 2015?

Kartik Singhvi: No specific penal consequences have been prescribed by the ICAI. But you won’t be able to enroll as a member, until you complete GMCS-II.

thats what i want to ask, that can i do gmcs 2 after completion of my articleship or after clearing my ca final's?
