Now ICAI announced a gift for CA final students appearing in MAY-11 exams..

We don't need to cover these topics as per latest amendment by ICAI...

Sub: Exclusion of certain topics in the CA Final Examination to be held in May, 2011

On a review of the Final Course syllabus, the Council has decided to exclude the following topics from the Final Examination to be held in May, 2011:-

Paper 1:Financial Reporting
- Inflation Accounting

Paper 5 :Advanced Management Accounting
- Time Series Analysis; and
- Test of Hypothesis.

Students are advised to note the change.

should we exclude them or conclude tht these r very imp n sure to hit the exams....as far as i know for may 2010 also such kind of a notification was given and just da reverse happened........

If you want to revise, you can...

But as per my opinion, if institute has specifically notified to exclude these topics only for May-11 exams, we should not waste our precious time in revising it, instead of doing remaining course... which is already too much heavy after latest revision..

And I still trust on ICAI.. so atleast i will not cover these..
