Dear Experts,
1. Whether the gift deed can be executed on stamp paper dated after marriage date for gifts received on occassion of marriage ?
2. Whether such deed would be disallowed and taxable as income from other sources as stamp paper date is after marriage date and what would be consequences?
1) gift deed can be any date, but the item is recived by you as gift is treated as gift only on and after the gift deed date
2) gift is taxable under other sources.
