After e-filing of a service tax return, where can I generate a copy of the acknowledgement for the same? What are the steps for doing so once we're logged into the assessee's account from aces.gov.in website?

Go to Ret ---> E-filing --> view status...
Yes but that isn't a proper acknowlegement like we get in Income Tax. This just shows 'filed'. It doesn't even show the the period for which the return is filed, leave alone details of services or service tax...
Don't we get a proper acknowledgement for e-filed service tax returns which can be emailed to the clients?
For Acknowledgement follow these steps.
RET----->print ackknowledge receipt-----> fill date & module and press search------>press blue colored...document source number
and you have.. your acknowledgement receipt...!!!
After getting online acknowledgement, also get thedepartmental acknowledgement.
