I have terminated my articleship after appearing in PCC nov 08 exams to join a reputed firm. But wherever I applied they advice me to join after my Tybcom exams in Mar 09. But when I contacted ICAI mumbai branch they advice not to take gap and to join a new firm. Is there any harm if we take a gap of 6 months in articleship.I can manage Tybcom with articleship but CA's are not ready to take me at this stage . Please help me. Thanks in advance

It all depends upon your joining date of articleship and your leave
Any gap in your professional career will leave a black mark on your CV.
Never let the six months go away from you unless it is really demanding.
Remember.... you can never cook up stories to justify this gap later.

these r precious days..try to join any firm till then..
