FY17-18 LTCL on equity shares be carried forward
Can the FY17-18 LTCL on equity shares be carried forward to next year by filing with ITR 2 in AY18-19?

yes LTCL can be carry forward upto 4 yrlears

But LTCG on equity shares was exempt in FY17-18 so can we still carry forward LTCL of FY17-18 to set off against future LTCG?

Gains were exempt till FY 17-18 but no such provision for losses has come means loss can be carry forward till 4 years
