FY 15-16 interest income missed to be clubbed

Hi,

I had created a FD on my spouse name in year FY 15-16 and got some interest which I missed to mention in my ITR.

I never filed my spouse ITR.

How can I correct this mistake?

Thanks

Quick Summary
This discussion addresses how to handle missed interest income from a Fixed Deposit created in a spouse's name during FY 15-16. The original poster missed declaring this income in their ITR and their spouse's ITR was never filed. Advice suggests adding the interest income to the current year's ITR, with reassurance that if the taxable income remains below £250,000, there might be no need for concern.

You can add interest income in current year ITR if you wish
How much interest you got that time

I got around 45000 rs.

Ok if you're taxable income is upto 250000
then there is no need to worry
