IT DEPENDS ON YOUR PREPARATION. IF U R READY FOR BOTH GROUPS AND U THINK THAT U CAN CLEAR THEM BOTH, THEN GO FOR BOTH.....................

To appear for CA exams requires preparation at much advanced level . In my opinion, if ur preparation is not good then u may go for only 1group in which u are comfortable. Give ur B.com exam but dont skip ur attempt in may'10 for pcc. Try to prepare atleast 1 group sincerly and excel in that by getting good knowledge.

The above views are in consideration to the fact that there is not much matching of ur B.com with CA subjects. also u want to get expertise in CA papers by studying properly than merely clearing it. There is enough time to clear 1 group of Pcc.

Try to give both the groups as it will good gor you. As far as ur B com exams are concerned many subjects are common in it right? So not to worry about that

 im facing the same problem......have b.com 2nd yr papers in april.....so have just 3 months.......im preparing 4 both the groups though.....i can't answer ur question as im facing the same problem....but my b.com papers r almost the same as c.a ipcc papers so im nt really concentrating on b.com tht much......u need to access ur position,  wether u can manage both but ya there is enough time 4 u 2 score well in b.com as well as 1st group of ipcc.......also since it-sm and auditing are theory they will be easier to deal with...so mainly advanced acc is ur problem if ur considering 2nd group too.......if u can manage tht im sure u can clear both groups......so thts my suggestion....hope it helps. 

Swetha, u might have already prepare 4 ur bcom exams during ur regular classes.. whereas at the same time u were also aware dat ur attempt of pcc is due in may'10. i m sure u have also preapared 4 it too. hence only time scedule is required to balance the both.... in my opinion u shud concentrate on ur pcc subjects these days and try 2 cover all the subjects in a stretch..it wud b finished asap frm ur end n then go 4 bcom exams... i hope it work coz i did the same n cleared d both.. so get ready 4 it.. u wud succeed..bol (best of luck)

I advice you to go for both grps I did the same Bcom doesnot take much time to study its a part of your CA syllabus . And the main thing is when you write Bcom Exams feel it as a test to check your CA preparation So that u can analyse your performance to.

I gave my second year when i apperead for PCC in June 2009 cleared by Bcom happily with 80% but ya dint clear my second grp in PCC but i hope u can do it . It is not so tough task I feel

hi be  positive , u can clear both group in 1st attempt now you finish your CA studies 1st till the month of 15 feb  and after that with full force concentrate on T Y Bcom study  esspecially on eco and mpp coz other subjectare included in CA PCC study  bye take care

 if u hav studied tax and costing in b.com, u can very much appear for both the groups. 3 months of time is more than enough. u can rock :) 

it depends on ur preparation but u can give both the groups..........
