Dear Friends ,

I  m student of Final and my attempt is on Nov 10 . I have prepared for the First Group

and covers almost 80% syllabus of Auditing and Law and 50 % syllabus of Accounting and

SFM. All is going well. Now i m suggested by somebody  n think to prepare for both groups. Should i go

for both groups . Whether it is possible to complete rest of the syllabus in 7 months. I have not

even touched the second group paper .

Please guide.

UR Saying That is 7 Months is Enuf For 1 Group.......

I Think Only 4 Month is Enuf For Both Group...........

don't look at  how much u prepare......focus on "how many times u can revise the syllabus till nov. 2010"

Different people have different view, I will suggest go ahead with both group and better give more focuz and importance on a particular group...

All the best

In my opinion you have sufficient time to prepare for group ii and you can go ahead for both groups in Nov 2010 attempt

Thanks to all for guidence

I will try my best and now i m going for both groups

Thanks again for encouraging me.

Hi Gopal,

Brother 7 months are really ample time to prepare for both group. But this is not a general suggestion and i am saying this keeping in view your commitment as you is already doing gr8 work with good speed.

But Iโ€™d suggest to analyse your position regarding balance course and blind adoption of any advice may be very harmful towards your pre-planned schedule. Also keep in view that you have to re-schedule your revision policy as revision of both groups wonโ€™t be an easy task.

Kindly observe the following points:

1. Focus on one group. Use the balance energy in the second group.

2. Try and complete coaching for both groups.

3. Prepare revision schedule now.

4. Kindly observe the advice given by Ms. Priya in this forum.

Best Regards

DOING LITTLE ( HERE ..ONE GROUP ).........AND GET  WITH BEST EFFORTS.....( HERE CA FINAL ONE GP MARKSHEET) AT FIRST ATTEMPT...........IS MUCH BETTER THAN PREPARING BOTH GROUPS AND GET NOTHING .

Hi Friends

One major think i want to discuss with you all is that i am not associated with any

coaching center or  not taking any coaching ( as i live in small city) but till date of

my preparation i have not found any such problem which totally stop my study

schedule. I am even only following the books recommended by you members of CA club

India. Please also see my collection and give suggestions:-

For Accounting :- MP Vijay Kumar,

For AS :- D.S. Rawat.

For SFM :-  D.S.Bala & Pattabiram

For Auditing:-  V.K Aggarwal

For Law :- Munish Bhandari

----------------------------------------

Not even purchased the  books of group -II

but as per your suggestions hope to purchase

For Cost :- Sexana & Vishist

For ICSA- Dinesh Madan

For DT- Vinod K Gupta

For IDT- Ajay Jain.

Thanks again.
