Quick Summary
This discussion clarifies GST implications for regular freight payments made to unregistered lorry and rickshaw operators. Generally, GST under the Reverse Charge Mechanism (RCM) is only applicable if the transporter issues a consignment note or 'bilty'. If no such document is issued, the freight payment can typically be booked directly as an expense in the profit and loss account without RCM liability.

i think a lorry/ freight person issue a bilty then you have pay RCM other than not required to pay RCM only book expense but you wait for more people answer this question

RCM on transportation is applicable only on GTA services i.e. a transporter who is issueing a consignment note or builty.
