Friends, The Institute launched a Free Accounting software. It is a web based , easy to use to maintain accounts online. Freely downloadable from the ICAI website by any user. It can operate as a single user license on a desktop computer for a small timer. This software will also serve households that use accounts payable type accounting transactions, managing budgets and simple account reconciliation.

You can download from website www.icai.org.in . As ICAI has launched it. It would be first one web based accounting software.

I am a member of ICAI and i have post your query. I think soon it will be answered, till then we have to wait. Ex president CA Ved Jain said that it has been officially launched. Let see whay its not available on site.

ICAI should also launch another free & nice version of BUSY Accounting software having vat enabled invoice, vat computation and inventory for benifit of small concerns.
You can download its free version BUSY UL 3.5 from below site.
