@ Kalpit Vora it means in that question there is a case of 100% dividend payout? As you are getting PAT by multiplying EPS with number of shares. I havnt seen the question paper yet but just asking.

Its a backward calculatn..startn frm eps multiplied by no.of shares getn np for es..consider pref div @ 15% & thn get pat & so no...
EBIT=(eps no of shares)+preference dividend+interest on debenture+tax...frm dis EBIT..deduct income frm non trade investmnt and tax...dis wil giv u da nopat...
is dis calculation correct...
