i m doin articleship n i hav to file form 5 for incresase in shr capital. wt amount of stamp paper needs to be affixed and what should be written on it???????? does franking needs to be done on it????

Just be clear whether it is your personal or of any company. If you have to do just see the companies act,1956 where it is mention how the application to be made.

How are you increasing the share capital?Increasing independently or by order of Govt.?
If independentely, then you only need have resolution and minutes of meeting where the decision for making the increase was made!!

dear nikhil these are the formalities:
1. you have to hold a EGM and get approval of the shareholder.
2. registered the resolution in Form 23
3. stamping sholuld be done on increase amount of capital less capital already have at prevailing rate from the treasury of the state in which the reg. office of the co. situate
4. file Form 5 attaching the stamped form 5
5. submit the form with roc office physically
