Form 3cd ay 2015-16

Hi All! I am unable to work on the Form 3CD java utility that the income tax department has provided on the tax website for AY 2015-16. I have downloaded java 8. When I open the form 3CD utility, it displays the message "please select a valid X M L file". I am not sure if there is some problem with the java or it has got anything to with my operating system which is windows 8. Please do let me know if there is a solution for this. Thanks in advance!
