I need to file a TDS return in Form 27Q for Q1 2017-18 regarding property sale by NRI to resident but the NSDL utility is not allowing me - it says return cannot be prepared till completion of quarter i.e. June 30, 2017
But my question is: in that case, the NRI seller will not be able to get Form 16A till return is filed. He is asking for Form 16A urgently. In such a situation, is there any other way?
The TDS has already been deposited in ITNS 281 and copy of challan given to seller but he wants Form 16A also.
