Form 24Q

Dear Members,
We have been deducting  tax from salary based  on declaration provided by various employees. Please guide on how the annexures II and III of form 24Q are to be filled as the tax deducted has been equally apportioned through out the year. We are required to file the same manually. Also please tell what figure should be entered in column 318 of annexure I of form 24Q.

annesure II & III are optional in first three quarter returns
Under column 318 you should enter the amount on which you have calculated tax. In fact this one is bit tricky in the sense that you have to work out the average rate of tax in order to arrive at a monthly figure. Annexure-II deals with figures pertaining to whole year while III deals with perks. So far annual figure is concerned, you may not have any problem but finding out the average rate of tax could be an issue. Try & best of luck
