Form 16AA - Certificate for tax deducted at source from income chargeable under the head “Salaries” – cum – Return of income.

Please let me know whether the Form 16AA is still existed and issued by the employer, as I heard that Form 16AA has been omitted.

Form 16AA Omitted
Form 16AA was a TDS certificate cum income tax return for low paid employees. Now Form 16 has to be issued in case of all employees. Additionally, Form 12BA in respect of perquisites has to be issued in case of employees drawing salary exceeding Rs. 1.50 p.a.
