Form 16-two companies

Hi

 Query:

1. If an employee resigns on 28.02.09, then in his Form 16, under Column named TO which date is to be filled i.e. 28.02.09(date of resigning) or 31.03.09(date of close of financial Year)?

2. An employee of A ltd. worked in it for 11 months i.e. till 28.02.09 and from 01.03.09 he is appointed in another ompany named B ltd. (Both A ltd and B ltd are closely connected to each other.)

Now A Ltd. issued From 16 to that employee till 28.02.09. In Form 16, date filled under TO column is 31.03.09 (date of close of FY). Is it obligatory for B ltd. to issue Form 16 to that employee for One month only i.e. March, 09.
