Form 16 issue

Hi,

We have filed the 4th Quarter TDS and there is a notification from TDS department that there is a short deduction. Hence we are planning for revising the returns.

Meanwhile i have downloaded Form 16 from traces. Can i issue the form 16 now or should i wait till i refile the tds and then regenerate the form 16 again ?

Please let me know.

Short deduction might be in some particular cases..not in all cases...so issue TDS Certificates for the cases in which there is no short deduction and for rest ie for cases in which there is short deduction, issue certificates after revision of return..
