Hi Friends,
We have paid commission Rs.10,000/-
We have deducted T.D.S. Rs.1030/- from the above payment & ald paid to Govt.
Now, my query is while preparing Form 16-A, I mention as follows:
T.D.S. RS.1000/-
E.CESS.RS.30/-
Is it O.K.? I mean to ask that the column of SURCHARGE will be NIL??
Please guide me.

TDS amount is containing only Tax+Edu Cess+Higher Edu Cess. Youhave not deducted any surcharge amount then how can you fill surcharge column in Form 16

you have not deducted surcharge so you cant fill it in FORM 16-A
and surcharge will only be deducted in case of service exceeding RS 10lac....

If there is no Sucharge the you have to show 0 or Nil in surchage column.

yeah when you have not deducted surcharge then there is no need to fill that column
