Form 15ca

DONT WORRY. NOT A BIG ISSUE

I have issued few 15CB for advance against import of goods. I have asked many times to produce the details of actual import of goods, The client always says that it will be imported in the next month.

what should we do to safeguard ourself?

Effective from 1st April 2016 no certificates from CA in Form 15CB is required for import of goods. You need to ensure that the client submits you pro forma invoice and details submitted to bank during previous remittance before you certify. As you must be aware the penal consequences of issuing such forms of one lakh per certificate.
