Dear Sirs,

Kindly suggest as to whether a salaried employee who has undergone a change in employment should

                 1) Submit the "FORM 12B" to his Previous Employer or Current Employer ?

                 2) From where/whom shall such "FORM 12B" be obtained ?

                 3) In case he had not provided HRA Payment details to his Previous employer earlier can he provide it now ?

                 Kindly reply at the earliest

Thanks

"FORM 12B" should be obtained from previous employer and given to the current employer.

Yes, you can provide the HRA details to the current employer.

Sir Form 16 shows your salary, perks, taxable income and the benefits / exemptions you have availed - with a final calculation of income tax

Form 12BA is an annexure to Form 16 which shows the details of perks and exemptions on your total income
