Hello Everyone,

I have applied fo ICAI membership last week. In addition to B.Com, I have also completed my M.Com (External) from 2009 to 2011 from University of Pune. But today i have got a call from ICAI that i haven't took permission from ICAI for M.Com, hence my membersip application can't be precessed. They told me to apply for Form 112, along with Employer's comments & observations on principal's letterhead, request letter to condone the delay and penalty of Rs. 1,000.

My question is :-

Is there any remedy on the above. As now it is very cumbersome for me to do all the procedure

away from my hometown.

yes there are strict provisions in regard to failure to file form 112 and breaching icai regulation . . you have breached icai regulation that not to pursue more than one course during articleship

however on completion of one course other course can be done by submittion course completionf form and new form 112 for other course

so just send form 112 as advised,,,(how icai knows you have done m.com?)AS YOU HAVE DONE IN EXTERNAL THERE MAY NOT BE STRICT ACTION ON YOU
