Form 107 submitted sent for correction by RO

I served my additional leave from 18/02/23 to 23/05/24 but forgot to fill Form 107 that time. . I already submitted Form 108 and got it approved. And after that submitted Form 107.
In correction remark sent by Icai it is showing "Kindly upload form 107 duly franked/executed in a stamp paper, the executed stamp must be within 60 days from the date of commencement of supplementary deed registration"

How to resolve this? What date should be mentioned in the stamp paper?

Quick Summary
A user submitted Form 107 late for their additional leave and it was returned by the RO for correction. The RO requires Form 107 to be executed on stamp paper within 60 days of the supplementary deed registration. The user is seeking advice on how to obtain the correct stamp paper and what date to use. The suggested solution involves getting a new stamp paper dated within the 60-day window, executing Form 107 on it, and explaining the delay to ICAI. An alternative suggestion is to discuss backdating the articleship commencement with the principal if obtaining an old stamp paper is not feasible.

It seems like you've missed submitting Form 107 within the required timeframe.

To resolve this:

1. Obtain a stamp paper with the current date (within 60 days from the date of commencement of supplementary deed registration).

2. Execute Form 107 on this stamp paper, ensuring the date mentioned is within the 60-day limit.

3. Upload the duly executed Form 107 to the ICAI portal.

4. In the "Correction Remark" section, explain the situation and mention the reason for the delay in submitting Form 107.

Regarding the date to be mentioned in the stamp paper: - Use the current date (within the 60-day limit) when executing Form 107 on the stamp paper. -

Ensure the date is after the submission of Form 108 and its approval.

You have to get a stamp paper dated within 18.04.23 but since it's difficult to get a stamp of that before u can talk with your principal to change your date of articleship start date and ask to do an unofficial articleship period like a dummy
