Dear Madam/Sir,
If person is non resident of indian and company wants to appoint as an a director to him. Then what are the requirments for this individual to appoint as a director.? Is Pan compulsory for DIN.

Please refer Rule 9(3)(a) of Appointment and Qualification of Directors rule 2014
The applicant shall provide following documents along with DIR 3
(1) Photographh
(2) proof of identity
(3) Proof of resisdence
(4)verification by the applicant for applying for allotment of DIN in Form DIR-4; and
(5) specimen signature duly verified.
