Dear sirs,
One foreignor, who is living in India with her ex-visa, was deducted TDS from her Interest on Deposit in Canara Bank in India.
Can she eligible to claim TDS?
she is citizen of USA. she had a ex-visa and living from 8 years in India.
can some body advise me pls.

Yes she can claim the TDS excess deducted by filing the Income Tax return for the Respective Assessment Year.

Yes she can claim TDS and in future if her income is not taxbale please deposit Form 15G with the bank authoroties for non deduction of Tax.
