Can a person of foreign national be appointed as a director of pvt ltd company in india ? company is dealing with investments of funds in real estates. is it allowed that company having foreign director can invest in real estate sector ?

Yes, Foreign National can become director in Indian Pvt. Company & there is no such restriction currently
