My friend had 10 lakhs fno loss
He choosed new tax regime
Do he eligible for carryfrwd of this loss.
Someone told me that we cannot utilize in next year if we file with new tax regime?

Yes, carry forward of loss will be allowed after set off of the loss with other income in current year. (even under NEW Tax Regime).
But he must file ITR 3 under normal assessment; before due date.
