Can any one provide format of Fixed Assests Register to be complied with Income Tax act and Companis Act, 1956.

It it very much available in Files portal. Kindly download it. Fixed asset register is mandatory for Companies act , 1956. Income tax act there is no specific provision to maintain fixed asset register. However it is form part of Books of accounts.

As per Caro requirement its compulsary so if CARO is not applicable on your business then its not mandatory.

there is no fixed format for fixed asset register. but every entity has to maintain its fixed asset register details given in the caro 2004. refer that and make fixed asset refister yourself

the fixed asset register must contain:- date of acquisition nature of asset (plt & mach etc) cost recorded in books of account location code nos. attached to assets if any these are illustrative and not exhaustive list of particulars
