First stage dealer registration

Once goods are cleared for home consumption, it is not required to keep them in a warehouse.

Warehousing is an option available before clearance of goods from customs for temporary storage of goods till they are cleared.

 a storage space is needed for "dealer excise registration", it may be your commercial office space, but you have to store the goods there only, as per RG23D register.
