First Attempt Query

If articleship gets over in say September 2010 (after all leave adjustments), then as per rules one can appear for CA final in Nov 10. However, I believe that the time for preparation would be pretty less.

In that case, if the student opts to give the CA final exam in May 11, will it be considered as his first attempt or second atttempt?
