Time Limit for Cancellation of Registration

(a) A Registered Student is required to successfully complete the Intermediate and Final Examinations of the Institute within a period of seven years from the date of registration failing which his / her registration shall be cancelled.

(b) Registration of a student shall also be cancelled if he / she fails to appear at least in One stage of the Intermediate Examination within a period of three years from the date of his / her registration.

So dont count no. of attempts , it doesnt matter whether or not you are appearing for the exam , all you need to see is that you are within the ambit of the above mentioned rule.
