Now Firms have to specify their registration number in addition to membership number on Audit Reports. (Announcement by ICAI on 19th Jan 2010).

From what date will it be applicable? From the date of announcement or some other date -Pls clarify.
it is effective from 01/04/2010
Whether it is neessary to quate on TAX AUDIT too ?
As I am practicing in my personal name, not required to take the firm number. Can I Sign audit report ?
