Quick Summary
This discussion explores the feasibility of preparing various financial statements, including journal entries (JV), general ledgers (GL), trial balances (TB), profit and loss (P&L), and balance sheets (BS), using Microsoft Excel. While basic statements can be created with simple formulas, more advanced data entry and database functionalities might require VBA scripting. Participants shared resources and templates for creating these financial documents in Excel.

One can prepare normal templates easily using add and minus functions. But if you want to enter data into a single cell and database it, you need to know vba scriptts.
