Who can be a Financial Planner for Individuals in India is there any regulation for it?

Any specific education or certification required (any exemption for CA or other professional qualification)?

Financial planners can be individuals or firms.

There is no specific regulation for financial planners, but there are certain professional bodies and associations that financial planners can choose to become a member of.

There is no specific education or certification requirement. However, financial planners typically have a background in finance, business, or a related field, and may hold a bachelor's or master's degree in a relevant subject such as finance, economics, or accounting.
