dividend amendment is simply that dividend declared for previous year is to be shown in notes to accounts.but institute has changed the questions in study material meaning thereby that in study mat dividend is declared on the last day of financial year so the accounting treatment remains as it was earlier.dividend declared by subsidiary is shown in current liability short term provision to the extent of share of minority and dividend declared by holding under current liability short term provision.
