Final attempt for PE2 passed students

Hello Friends!

I have heard somebody saying that PE2  students who have recently joined for the articleship after passing the May 2010 exams can write the Final exam after completing 11/2 years of articleship training instead of previously 2 years...i have browsed through the ICAI site,but could not trace out...please advice.
