Filling of mgt-14 for a pvt ltd company

Hi, I have a 1.5 year old company and I was under the impression that annual accounts were to be approved in AGM so we didnt do that at board's meeting. Now I was trying to file MGT-14 for the same and while reading online resources realized that the same should have been done for Board's meeting as well as audit's were to be approved in that. Can someone please answer the following questions? 1) Should I go back and amend documents for board's meeting to reflect approval of the audit and adoption? Or Can audit be passed in AGM and I should go ahead with that? 2) Do I have to file MGT-14 twice? Once for director's report and once for audit?

For private limited companies MGT 14 is not mandatory to be filed. MGT 7 and AOC 4 are to be filed for annual returns and financial statements to ROC.
