I am unable to do correction online for Financial Years 2007-08, 2008-09, 2009-10. The message displayed is correction is to be done through NSDL. For the demands raised by Income Tax, I have paid the TDS Challans. I have to add the new challans for the above mentioned years. RPU Version 1.3 ( Java) doesn't allow to add challans for doing the corrections. Can our respected experts on Tds give a solution to solve this problem.
TDS Processing has been changed for New RPU
for Adding New Challans to statment
It shall be done through Online Only.
After login to traces, search for online Correction of Statment
select the year and quarter and Statment you want to correct
all the Challans You have paid will displayed there
from there you need the select the challan you want to add.
click on the submit
Statment will be sent for processing to IT Department
Once the statment has been processes
you need Add the Deductee Details to that Perticular New Challan
This is the message displayed in TRACES if online correction is requested for F.Y 2007-08 :
Online Correction is not enabled for the requested statement. Kindly file through NSDL and the Subsequent correction can be filed on TRACES.
Please kindly guide me to solve the problem.
1ce u file-d a correction return , after the taking over of TRACES it automatically - has a copy... As it will not have a copy fo the file of relevant quarter TRACES can't allow any online corrections.} It worked |

I am unable to tds defaulter correction for F.Y..: 09-10 through online as it does not allow me to correct the file. When I put the period, it shows to correct the file through NSDL. But TDS Processing has been changed for New RPU. Pl. guide me out of this problem.
