I am filing second time revised return for the financial year 2016-17 but while filing it is aking original return acknowledgement number and date, should we give original return acknowledgement number and date or revised return acknowledgement number and date?

Original acknowledgement number and date
Original Return is treated as defective, are you sure about it? could you provide any substance for it.
Dear Hemanth. If the original return was defective, then atleast your original query should have all the facts placed right! didn't see you mentioning defective return there. Anyway, the once return under 139(9) is filed, it replaces the original return. So you may mentioned its details while revising the return.
