Quick Summary
If you're a salaried employee who hasn't filed an Income Tax Return (ITR) for the past six years, you can generally start filing again this year. The requirement to file an ITR is typically based on your gross total income exceeding the basic exemption limit. If your income was below this threshold in previous years, you may not have been obligated to file. It's advisable to resume filing from the current year onwards.
As per income tax you are required for to filed your income tax return only when your gross total income is above basic exemption limit. so if you dont have that much income than you did not have to worry about the return. and from this year start filling the I come tax return. www.taxguide.club
