Filing of GSTR-3B after GST is cancelled.

Whether filing of Nil GSTR-3B is necessary after Cancellation of GSTIN and before Filing GSTR-10.

No.

In case you have applied for cancellation of GST registration then no need to file any return from then.

One has to file all GSTRs till cancellation of GSTN email is received. After that only GSTR-10.

YES I AM ABLE TO LOGIN. GSTIN STATUS SHOWS CANCELLED W.E.F. 01/01/2018. GSTR-10 FILED. CANCELLATION E MAIL RECD. STILL NEED TO FILE GSTR RETURNS IN FORM 3B & 1.

I HAVE QUERY.

AFTER FILING GSTR-3B & GSTR-1, I OBSERVED THAT THERE ARE MISTAKES IN WRONG CLASSIFICATION UNDER B2C. COMPOSITION TO URP. & URP TO COMPOSITION. ALSO URP TO REGULAR OR REGULAR TO URP. AFTER CHECKING STATUS OF GSTIN OF BUYER FOR F.Y. 2018-19 I OBSERVED ABOVE MISTAKES. DO I NEED TO MATCH GSTR-3B ACCORDINGLY FOR F.Y.18-19 WHILE FILING GSTR-3B FOR DECEMBER-18 & GSTR-1 FOR DECEMBER-18 QUARTER WHILE MAKING AMENDMENT IN B2C & B2B DEATLS.

Till cancellation means up to the date of GSTR-19 or GSTR-20??

Even after cancellation of registration (order of cancellation in GST REG-19 received also GSTR10 filed) I am getting GSTR3A notice asking to file GSTR3B for the month of May-2019 (And the return dashboard is showing only year 2017-18). What is the course of action? Please guide me as early as possible.

I have applied for gst registration cancellation w.e.f 01.04.2019 but the cancellation is still in process and further i have got notice of Gstr 3a to fill return for the month of May'19 and April'19. So my question is whether i need to file return after applied for cancellation of registration or not. Kindly support your reason.

In my opinion, need not required to file the returns for the period beginning from date of application for cancellation.

( Reference - Proviso to Section 29 of the CGST Act, 2017 read with Rule 20, 21A and 22 of CGST Rules, 2017 )
