current year AY 21-22 do we need to file income tax returns using json utilty only is excel version available now or later.

Quick Summary
For the current Assessment Year (AY) 21-22, filing your Income Tax Return (ITR) can only be done using the JSON utility. Both the Excel and Java utilities are no longer available for this tax year. You have the choice to file via JSON, but it's the sole option available.

It's upto your choice whether you should file ITR using json file or using excel.

No excel and java utility are not available anymore. Only JSON is available
