Female as a Karta in HUF account

As of now female alone cannot form HUF with other decedents of the family. But she can become Karta of any existing HUF in case male Karta is no more.

One more query sir, after the Demise of the Karta , can the eldest daughter become the karta of HUF, Despite having a younger male brother? 

Yes, she can be with consent of other coparceners.
